Where does the Wedding Cake strain come from?
Wedding Cake comes from Seed Junky Genetics in Los Angeles, and most sources give its parents as Triangle Kush and Animal Mints. SeedFinder names JBeezy as Seed Junky's head breeder, lists Triangle Mints #23 as another name for the plant, and notes that Seed Junky never offered Wedding Cake as feminized seed.
Older strain listings described Wedding Cake as Cherry Pie × Girl Scout Cookies, and some seed companies still use that pedigree: Royal Queen Seeds lists its feminized Wedding Cake as Girl Scout Cookies × Cherry Pie. Because Seed Junky never released Wedding Cake as feminized seed, every feminized Wedding Cake on the market is a seed company's own version, so the pedigree on the pack can differ.
Is Wedding Cake the same as Pink Cookies?
Yes. Pink Cookies is another name for Wedding Cake, used especially in Canada. Leafly, AllBud and SeedFinder all list Pink Cookies as an alias, and SeedFinder adds Triangle Mints #23, which points back to the Triangle Kush × Animal Mints pedigree.
Wedding Crasher is a child, not an alias. Wedding Crasher is a Wedding Cake × Purple Punch cross, so it descends from Wedding Cake rather than being another name for it.
What does Wedding Cake smell and taste like, and how does it feel?

How do you grow Wedding Cake seeds?
Wedding Cake seeds grow into bushy, moderate-height plants that suit tents and small gardens: top them once, open the canopy with LST, flower them for 9 to 10 weeks, and keep humidity low as the dense, frosty buds ripen.
- GerminateAbout 1 week
Give Wedding Cake seedlings warm, steady conditions and gentle light; don't feed until the first true leaves have fully opened.
- Vegetate4–5 weeks indoors
Top Wedding Cake once and tie the side branches outward so the bushy frame builds several even colas instead of one tight top.
- Flower9–10 weeks
Wedding Cake's buds stack up dense and frosty in the second half of bloom; clear the lower growth so air reaches the middle of the plant.
- HarvestDay 63–70 indoors · early–mid October outdoors
Pick Wedding Cake by trichome color: cloudy heads with some amber give the heavier, more relaxing finish most growers want.
Grow tips for Wedding Cake
- Keep it compact. Royal Queen Seeds lists Wedding Cake at about 70–120 cm indoors, so it fits most tents; light topping and LST keep it even shorter and wider.
- Mind the dense buds. AllBud describes Wedding Cake's buds as dense and pine-tree shaped, which makes them prone to rot in humid rooms. Run fans and keep late-flower humidity low.
- Expect frost, and handle it gently. Wedding Cake coats its buds in trichomes. Trim with care and dry slowly to keep the vanilla-and-pepper aroma intact.
- Choose a mild outdoor climate. Royal Queen Seeds rates its feminized Wedding Cake for temperate and Mediterranean climates, with an outdoor finish in early October.
- No sexing needed. Seed Junky never sold Wedding Cake as feminized seed, but these feminized seeds grow female plants, so you can start from seed and keep every plant.

Beyond what a real wedding cake can provide! surprisingly energizing, causing me to become aroused and ecstatic. Well worth trying for something scrumptiously novel! This short and robust marijuana cultivar took roughly nine weeks to blossom indoors. I read that this variety yields a lighter harvest, therefore I’m happy that I got a bigger amount than I anticipated. It’s a great strain to pique appetite. Not to mention its white crystal trichomes and deep green nugs. Enchantment! I received around 500 grams of new buds! Excellent cannabis for a fair price! Unquestionably worth purchasing! 10 out of 10 for this seeds!

Last time I got a series of migraines every night, and to be honest with you guys, this was the only treatment that eradicates my suffering. Thanks to a friend of mine for suggesting me this medical weed to. I started growing this on my own since there are no shops near me. I’m still a newbie in cultivating marijuana but Wedding cake was pretty outstanding to me, it helped me not just migraines but body pains, I’m thinking to order this again. Great weed at a reasonable price! definitely worth buying! 10/10 seed rating!

Yeah, it can be challenging to grow, but my indoor hydroponics system did the trick, and it was an achievement for me to develop this successfully. I’m used to cultivating average yields, but this is enormous. I got nearly 500 grams of fresh buds! I’ve been smoking this weed for streaks now. It treats my occasional headaches, insomnia, and anxiety! Suitable for smoking after work, just chilling at home with some friends. Wedding Cake is the ultimate anytime weed that I only need, not to mention its deep green nugs and white crystal trichomes. Magic!
Walter Hampton –
Wedding Cake Fem is yummy; this weed is genuinely delicious stuff. It has a sweet and sour taste, and the bud is bright green and yellow. I would grow this indoors next time; it’s a bit better off that way. All of my seeds germinated in a record-breaking amount of time. Indoor flowering was about nine weeks for this short and sturdy marijuana variety. I got a higher yield than I expected, and I’m thrilled because I read that this strain produces a lighter harvest. It is an excellent strain for inducing hunger.

I’m a huge fan of Wedding Cake Fem!! I think its a perfect seed for me, and I’ve had a great experience with them! After receiving the seeds, I grew them all myself in the sunny side yard. I’m a first-time weed grower, so I was pleasantly surprised by how well these tiny seeds germinated in the dirt. They appeared out of nowhere! Now I’m smoking my weed, which gives me a very balanced high that’s both innovative and calming. I just usually chill on the couch with my dog, but now and then, I think to myself, “Let’s go hiking!” and this herb is excellent for that as well! It has a sweet pine flavor to it, and it’s delicious.
Michael Dimmond –
Very reliable strain for any use. I particularly tend to focus more on outgoing strains and this definitely helped me! The high was really energizing and gave me and my friends some good laughs! Always a hit during parties cuz ya don’t really need that much to get frosty. Hyped us all up! The sweetness wasn’t over the top which I really appreciate, just makes for a good tasting strain. Simple growing and does well indoors and outdoors. Personally, I like it out in the sun because it can avoid molds very effectively! Top of the list for this one!

Exceeds more than a true Wedding Cake can offer! Surprisingly energetic as it made me aroused in a euphoric state. Literally made me good in the bed on my most special day with my love. A cerebral high gave me a focused mind and turn down my worries and irritations. Easy to grow indoors which I thrive on organic soil. Resilient plant and yields heavy dense buds with purplish tones. Rich smoke gave me tangy and citrus scents with a flavorful sweet and earthy taste that soothes me. Worth a try for something deliciously new!
